Areas of Focus
The methodologies we employ are adaptable to any topic, and we have the capability to address crises and emerging issues as needed. At the same time, we have identified several key areas that are particularly laden with blind spots and relevance gaps, and in which we can greatly serve Jewish and Israel leaders. Consequently, these areas remain our focus during both routine and wartime.
Geopolitics
Israel faces significant threats from adversaries committed to its destruction. Iran and various Islamist groups in the region have been constructing a “ring of fire” around the country. Their strategy does not rely on conventional battlefield victories against the IDF but rather on a continuous war of attrition aimed at eroding the resilience of Israeli society. This threat is further complicated by the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict, where structural obstacles impede the path to a stable political solution.
We advocate for a reassessment of Israel's national security assumptions. By producing strategic policy papers, we assist senior political and defense leaders, focusing on dimensions we believe represent blind spots in the current system, and maintain ongoing contact, sometimes receiving direct directives in the process.
Israel's International Standing and the Fight Against Antisemitis
The current unique blend of antisemitism during wartime is used by our enemies as a complementary tool to their strategy of undermining Israel. This phenomenon, driven by local organizations in the West, is a significant factor in the growing global isolation of Israel.
We work with Jewish communities around the world, particularly in North America, through a unique approach we have developed. This approach helps each organization and community understand the distinct characteristics of the current wave of antisemitism and develop a relevant and tailored strategy. Simultaneously, we work with Jewish communities to build resilience and strengthen their connection to Israel.
Resilience and Social Cohesion in Israel
Social cohesion is the cornerstone of Israel's national resilience and, as such, one of the primary targets for disruption by our enemies. We believe that the societal polarization of recent years has been exacerbated by several structural failures, demographic changes, and a lack of responsible leadership.
To address this, we are developing a model aimed at empowering local leadership, which has the potential to mitigate many of the tensions that have shaken Israeli society and politics in recent years. This model places a special emphasis on the role of the Jewish world in strengthening social resilience.
